K-Electric has introduced digital handheld devices for meter reading across its network for the first time.
The power giant company has equipped its meter readers with state of the art hand-held devices to note meter readings and store respective data to KE servers.
This development sure will eliminate human intervention associated with manual meter reading.

According to a KE spokesperson,
In line with KE’s customer centric approach and focus on continuous process improvement, we are glad to announce roll out of hand-held devices for meter reading across our network.
Till date, K-Electric has implemented several IT-based services like – ‘Genesys’ – for managing customer experiences across one single platform.
K-Electric is also the first ever energy producing compan in Pakistan to integrate its digital platforms with SAP, bringing its wide range of customer care touch points under one umbrella such as 118, customer.care@ke.com.pk and the SMS service 8119 as well as serving customers through 29 IBCs and mobile units, providing services at its user’s doorstep.
