One of the world’s leading carriers, Emirates is considering the possibility of having completely windowless aircrafts, to pave the way for faster, lighter and fuel-efficient flights.

The airline’s president, Tim Clark, has hinted in a recent interview that the later generation passenger planes can ultimately be windowless and instead, what passengers will have are “virtual windows” that beam real-time images of the view from outside.
