State bank new SMS services praised by the general public. The general public starts sending SMS to Bank but Bank stopped the booking of fresh currency notes within 8 hours due to a large number of fresh currency notes requested revived from the general public. This service was started on Thursday 31 May 2018 and closed in same date.

Earlier State Bank announced that the fresh notes will be available from nominated commercial bank branches called “e-branches” and the 16 offices of SBP BSC. From the 2nd of Ramadan till 28th of the month the issuance of currency notes to the general public through mobile SMS service by designated e-branches of commercial banks will be started.
